When you are something other than you are meant to be you are a shadow. And that to your Spirit is unimaginable grief. When you discover your True Voice your path and your purpose in life will reveal themselves and your Spirit will be free to make a difference. And that to your Spirit is unimaginable joy.

Slowly over time, messages of negativity and helplessness close the door to the human spirit and the prospect of making great things happen. The key turns, the windows bar, the lights dim and the way out is obscured. Opportunities are still all around us but we can’t see them because we feel helpless. So we look for someone to blame to make ourselves feel better.

But the key is our pocket and the lock right before us. All we need do is turn the key three times. The first to unlock our True Voices, the second to free our Spirits and the third to open ourselves to synchronicity, serendipity and epiphanies.

Synchronicity being meaningful coincidences. Serendipity, happy accidents and pleasant surprises. And Epiphanies, those glorious moments of great revelation that usually strike out of nowhere and trigger a profound shift in thinking.

There are two types of epiphany. The normal out of the blue flashes that come unexpectedly and Epiphanies by Design: the same glorious revelations but without the wait.

And then there’s Epiphany Bridges, a way use these life-changing moments to pivot ourselves in a new direction.

All it takes is curiosity, a flexible mind and a bit of imagination.

The Power

Over the last 160 years the human lifespan has grown by more than 40 years.

That means every four years it grows by one year. Or, to give it the shock value it deserves, “Every single day for the last one hundred and sixty years, human life expectancy has grown, on average, at the rate of six hours a day.”

Researchers at Germany’s Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, one of the world’s leading authorities on the subject, say there is no biological or evolutionary reason for it to slow down. Actuaries in that country fore-cast a child born in 2022 will, on average, live to 108.

But, they won’t live that long for 3 reasons. For most of them their self-talk, their postal code and their unwillingness to take risks will whisk them away before their time is up.

In this upbeat inspiring call to action Nicholas shows how your self-talk, your postal code and your willingness to take risks have a bigger impact on your health, wealth, happiness and power than education, exercise and playing it safe.

Your Self-Talk

The way you explain your life and circumstances to yourself and others has a profound impact on your self-control. your decisions, your personality, your lifestyle, your confidence, your health, your wealth and your destiny. It’s a habit, or style, that can harm or help you and it’s easy to fix.

Your Postal Code

Your Postal Code (personal circumstances) has more effect on your luck and your lifespan than your genetic code. Spending time with people who radiate a positive outlook is the single most critical factor to your future luck. Your Spirit is impacted by when and where you were born, by the environment and locality you were raised in and by your occupation and how your life is going. This doesn’t mean you have to move: just make more of what’s around you.

Your Willingness to Take Risks

We hold within ourselves the resources and resourcefulness to accomplish ten times more than we ever do but we are limited, not by what we can do but by what we’re willing to try. Our willingness to break barriers, step out of our comfort zones and take risks give us unlimited access chance encounters and lucky breaks.

People who see risk as something to be avoided or eliminated are saying goodbye to power, growth and personal achievement. People who embrace risks say hello to power, synchronicity and serendipity.

and the Glory

Epiphanies are glorious moments of great revelation that usually strike out of nowhere and trigger a profound shift in thinking. Epiphanies by Design present the same glorious revelations but without the wait. Epiphany Bridges are how we use these life-changing moments to pivot ourselves in a new direction.

Epiphany by Design

Imagine for a moment, in your mind’s eye, that just before you were born you found yourself in a line-up. In your hand you had a small piece of paper. On that paper you had written, in one short phrase, the reason you want to be born. The only condition is that it has to be something to benefit humanity because we know humanity evolves. When you get to the front of the line-up they look at your piece of paper, your Statement of Fortune, and either say “Not good enough, go back and try again,” or else they say “Great, very good, you can get born.” Armed with your slip of paper they sent you over to the “To-Be-Born Supply Department” to be fitted out with all the core attributes you’ll need to accomplish your mission. There are no negative attributes.

Depending on what’s written on your paper they endow you with all the attributes you’ll need. They might grant you patience, caring, creativity, courage, humor, organizational skills, eloquence, etc., whatever you need. The same goes for natural talents. Once you are filled to the brim with these qualities, you are ready to get born. But here’s the catch; just before you leave, the powers-that-be tear-up your Statement of Fortune and wipe your memory. So, here you find yourself like the majority of people, knowing there has to be more to life and knowing you are fully equipped for something special but you haven’t got a clue what it is: not consciously at least!

If you’d like to know your Statement of Fortune, this speech will help you find it. Then you’ll know why some things come easy and others don’t. You’ll see where you can shine with ease, and where you can’t, no matter how hard you try. You’ll know in which direction your future lies.
